Pacquiao isn’t the best welterweight but his resume is clearly better than floyd mayweather’s

Thurman was not considered number one at welterweight by anyone.

He took two years off and almost got knocked out by Josesito Lopez in his comeback fight.

Even before the lay off, many people, including myself, considered Kell Brook to be the best welterweight because he beat Porter way more convincingly than Thurman did. Spence knocked Brook out.

Let’s also not forget that Jeff Horn beat Manny Pacquiao only to turn around and get destroyed by Crawford.

nope, floyd has a win over pacman, canelo(a bit green), a better version of oscar, a decisive win over marquez(bit of weight games), those alone are better wins than anything on pacs resume, plus never lost a fight... and i have no dog in this fight by the way...

Only Foreman and Hopkins were older than Pacquiao. Thurman is a reasonably better scalp than Pavlik. Moorer is arguable. Good company to be in regardless.
