  • Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Trainer: Canelo Trilogy Will Happen When Both Are 65

Johnathon Banks, the head trainer for Gennady Golovkin, has serious doubts that his boxer will face Canelo Alvarez any time soon. Golovkin fought Canelo to a controversial twelve round split draw in 2017, with Canelo handing Golovkin his first loss by way of a majority decision in their 2018 rematch.

Dummy...when Nelo turns 65, GGG will be 165.

Nelo handled GGG for 24 rds and moved on to bigger and better things.

At 29, Nelo has done more with his career than GGG has up to this point.

Wow! what a dumb coach with his comments. He said when GGG is 65 and won't hit as hard? My questions to all of the boxing experts is, If GGG hits so damn hard, why wasn't Canelo Ko? Canelo fought him toe to toe on the second fight, stood in the middle of the ring and GGG couldn't do it, what makes him think that GGG still has the tool to ko Canelo?

They arent the same age how they gonna fight when BOTH are 65?

Banks suggesting we gonna be time traveling for fights in the future?

And if we can time travel to atg vs atg fights why the f#ck would we wanna see 65 yrs GGG vs 65 yrs Canelo. Give me 29 yrs Canelo vs 31 yrs GGG or some sh^t like that for these two.

When both are 65 Canelo will be revered as one of the best of his generation and one of the greatest Mexican fighters ever.
BBB side will barely be talked about.

GGG is clearly avoiding Andrade, otherwise he would have tried to fight for Andrade's WBO belt when "Boo Boo"(******est nickname ever, btw) was available and willing, but he fought a random bum like Rolls instead

Remember Canelo's one condition for making the trilogy? GET A BELT. If ginger was bluffing, it was his chance to call it out

but I dont think Canelo was bluffing, he simply doesn't like GGG because of GGG's and Abel's incessant moaning and *****ing over "peds" and "robbery" . He doesn't want to give GGG another payday just like that, he will force him to earn it

GGG and his team tarnished Canelo's image and humilliated him when they took that WBC belt from him before that first match, and now they want another payday? gtfo, I'll be doing the same as Canelo, make him jump through hoops for another shot, he already beat him anyway
