“He’s got the Hispanic background, and he’s American. So he’s got both of the sides. And what he’s done being the first Mexican heavyweight champion of the world. That’s huge for Mexico. They never had that before. So a lot of people that weren’t alert about him, they are now, and you know how they are with boxing. So it makes it even bigger, and you’re in America. You know what I’m saying? It’s bigger than what Joshua can ever be,” said Wilder.
Let's not kid ourselves. Joshua doesn't have anywhere near the following stateside that he does in the U.K. So in a sense Wilder is right.

I expect AJ to win because historically British HWT's usually win the rematch after the middle tier American knocks them out.

However, I will be rooting for Ruiz.
Canelo is 10x bigger than Ruiz is right now. But how many PPV buys did Canelo vs GGG do and how much did he make? Canelo didn't even make $35million in that fight.

Ruiz's 2mins of fame is over - AJ just need to move like he did against Parker and he'll destroy the guy with pot shots and uppercut. No listening to scumbag Hearn who was talking about doing it in style and surpassing what Wilder did. Hearn shouldn't even be allowed near the dressing room and the ring walk.

But he's more popular in the US than Wilder. The Andy Ruiz rematch would've done over 1million PPV buys if it had been in the US.

And how's Wilder right when Canelo didn't even sell more than 1.1 million PPV buys in his GGG fights and he's 10x bigger than Ruiz is right now.

I prefaced it by saying if Ruiz beats AJ again. In no way think Ruiz is on Canelo's level. I do think a wilder/ruiz fight in 2020 if both win would be big. I didn't post it would sell more than the 1.3 mil Canelo/GGG did.

I expect AJ to win as well but hopefully Ruiz gets the job done again so I can have some fun on the board.

Most fans in the US know AJ the bodybuilding Brit that got beat down by a dude that looks like Gabriel Iglesias.

Imagine when they make a BET movie about AJ and they get to the scene where Gabriel Iglesias makes Tiny Lister (Deebo from Friday) quit in the corner. LMFAO!!!

Depends on the details of those rematches really. If Ruiz Jr repeats his ass beating of AJ and Wilder poleaxes Fury, then they will certainly be regarded as #1 and #2 or 1a and 1b. Only in pockets of Great Britain would people still claim that Fury was the #1 HW.

You have no way of proving that. It's a myth

It's called being heavyweights my friend; They are Heavyweights. Which so happens to be the most prestigious and glamorous division in all of the sport of boxing.

I'm not so sure that Ruiz and AJ are all that popular in the U.S. Their rematch is the biggest fight in boxing for sure, but in the U.S. its not so much AJ vs Ruiz Jr II but rather the rematch between that giant black bodybuilder dude and that tubby Mexican guy. Must see TV for sure - for hardcore fans and casuals alike.

I know as a Brit you are worried that this could happen even though you expect AJ and Fury to win the rematches. If it does don't worry, you can have a British super 6 for the BBC HWT title.
                    Nope.

                    If Wilder beats Fury and Ruiz beats AJ, the rankings are as follows;

                    1) Wilder
                    2) Fury
                    3) Ruiz

Ruiz will never beat Tyson Fury in a fight. As for you knocking British fighters, i think even a rookie HW like Daniel Dubois would 100% KO any American HW not named Wilder, and he'd have a good shot of knocking Wilder out as well.

Daniel DuBois, Joe Joyce really good fighters. But as British HWT's their destinies are to be knocked out by some obscure, middle tier American HWT named Tyrone or Julio while defending their title.

I think both should start practicing 2 things:

                      1. The fake anger when the ref stops the fight because they didn't respond after being knocked down and
                      2. The following sentence: "I would like an immediate rematch".
