Former world bantamweight champion Luis 'Pantera' Nery will not train with Eddy Reynoso as he planned to do a few weeks ago. He will now train with renowned coach Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California. Nery is scheduled to return to the ring on November 23 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Between them both, Roach was the better pick by far. Reynoso hasn't proved to me he can train and be versatile with his strategy. He's left Canelo a one dimensional fighter. Canelo could fight Mayweather tomorrow and the result will be the same. It works for Canelo so great. Valdez hasn't seemed anything but tentative and uncomfortable since Reynoso has been training him. C'mon man this is Oscar Valdez and he's trying to hold his opponent!? I like Valdez actually he's one of my favorites. It has been a big let down since he changed trainers to Reynoso. Haven't seen anything to lead me to think Reynoso is something special.
