  • Comments Thread For: Derevyanchenko Plans To Play 'The Technician' Versus Golovkin

Andre Rozier believes he found the secret to help his charge, middleweight contender Sergiy The Technician' Derevyanchenko withstand the punching power of Gennadiy GGG' Golovkin. "You take your fighter, **** his head against a cinder block and let him know that his head is tough," the Brooklyn-based trainer quipped of his pre-fight preparation for this weekend's vacant middleweight title fight at Madison Square Garden in New York City (Saturday. DAZN, 9:00pm ET).

Yes. You are right about it being another week of great fights.
This fight should give people a better idea of were GGG is atm.
Should be an awesome fight though and am looking forward to seeing if Banks is able to switch it up abit.

Agree. I think this could be a FOTY contender & there is upset potential since GGG is getting up there in age.

Derevyanchenko has the skills to give GGG a competitive fight, just like he did with Jacobs.

              Should be fun

Aw man...if Dervy comes to move this thing could go 12...and lose a little bit of the good action...still should be good though, we will see how it goes!

IDK?? His workout seemed VERY weak to me???

I hope he's doing it WAYYYY different behind doors.

I really don’t see Banks changing much with GGG
Not for anything but GGG is a veteran whether amateur or pro , it’s very hard to start changing things up
Maybe he’ll benefit somewhat but then will go back to his old ways
I think he’ll handle Sergey and will be a dominant win imo
D is very weak to the body imo and GGG will take advantage of that
He’ll look like the second coming of GGG and make momentum or noise to try to push for the trilogy
