If Spence vs Manny is made; I would love to see Crawford in a WBO title defense against Porter. Porter deserves another title shot soon. He did nothing last night to say otherwise.

Or maybe Crawford can fight Danny Garcia or somebody that is a top tier bono fide welterweight. I’m really tired of seeing Bud in with the likes of Jeff Horn, Amir Khan, & Jose Benavidez Jr at welterweight. I would even like to see him fight a healthy Kell Brook.

Look at this list versus who Bud fought at welterweight:

Danny Garcia fought Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Robert Guerrero, and Lamont Pederson

Keith Thurman fought Guerrero, Garcia, Josesito Lopez, Porter, & Manny

Kell Brook has fought Errol Spence and Shawn Porter

Spence struggled because he isn't good at counterpunching and timing Porter's charges. His answer for Porter charging was backing up in a straight line with his head stationary.




Take Ugas for example. He stood his ground and hurt Porter much more to the body than Spence because Porter didn't see the body shots coming when he charged in behind his jab. They were sneaky bodyshots. Bothered Porter so much he gave up on fighting in the inside.

I like both Spence and Porter. I felt Spence would do a number on Porter and Get the KO by 6.

On the contrary Porter Whupped and embarrassed Spence !!! I don’t think after 60 plus years of watching boxing have I ever seen such stamina and commitment to win a fight. Both were at it but Porter made Spence look bad.

Win the fight on points then get put down and lose. It was quick but effective enough to save his win but not in my eye.

All I know is that Porter worked spencer over in a major way and got ROBBED!!!!!! If there was EVER any real possibility of spencer stepping the a ring with Bud, you can forget that now. Bud would end this cat's career in quick fashion, no doubt about it at all....there are levels to this game and spencer isn't anywhere close to Bud.

Errol couldn't get off because he's not quick or fast enough of hand or foot. I think the word trainers use is twitchy. I still maintain that's going to be what separates him from Crawford when they fight. Crawford is both of those things and he has more dimensions. There were counters there that I felt Crawford would have capitalized on against Porter that Spence just isn't capable of executing.

With that being said, that's why they fight the fights but Porter's stock actually rose after this fight.

Great fight, fair decision. Spence and porter are great fighters. Either v pac/Crawford. Shows how good brook was before ggg smashed him. Shame about the Thurman/brook injuries, loads of great fighters in this division!
