  • Comments Thread For: Jeff Horn Aims For Year-End Return, Will Remain With Rushton

Three weeks after suffering the worst beating of his career, a knockout loss to countryman Michael Zerafa in Bendigo, former WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn spoke to Fox Sports News and The Daily Telegraph to declare he will stick with his trainer Glenn Rushton in deciding to keep fighting.

this dumbazz will have brain damage by the time his career is over.... which is next year!! if he wanted a clean start, should have switched trainer and go from there.

Sounds like maybe...JUST MAYBE...Horn was never a full-fledged middleweight like people claimed. And maybe...JUST MAYBE...he should have stayed at 154 max.

Because he's not like Carnelo. My understanding is that Horn doesn't eat carne asada. So it's not like he can Clen his way up with lean muscle growth.

Suicide by home town decision. This guy is going to try to live up to that Pac robbery, if he has to get his brain scrambled. Horn was never any good, he couldn't box, and his punch was over rated. Zarafa showed him what time it is.

                  Rushton is not at fault

Rushton was right to point out Horn was not eating right.

I have only seen the highlights. Couldn't find the fight.
But the problem seems to be the step up in weight.
Horn belongs at 147 even if it's hard for him to make.

Clean fighters go up weight divisions and rely on their skills to keep winning at higher weight divisions.

Horn is a confusing and unorthodox fighter, but no skillful.
He relies on his strength too much. And that played out badly going to 154, where naturally bigger and stronger men reside.
