  • Comments Thread For: Wallin: Fury Stole Some Rounds, But A Fair Decision

LAS VEGAS Otto Wallin handled himself as commendably after his loss to Tyson Fury as he did during their fight. Though at least two of the judges' scores seemed wider than Wallin deserved, the disappointed Swede didn't complain. Wallin instead praised Fury for using his experience and intelligence in the ring to sway how the judges scored some of the close rounds in their 12-round heavyweight fight Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena.

    The cut added drama.

But seriously, what rounds did Wallin win? I would love to hear it straight from his mouth.

I think he has promise. And Fury paid a price for being ****y. But does anyone think Wallin fairs half as well in the rematch?

I had it a draw. Otto Wallin stole the show, the fans cheered the Germans name by the end of the night.

Another controversial 'win' for Fury. Gypsy-Bum robbed John McDermott and gave McDermott the rematch, I say the whooping Otto Wallin handed Fury elicits a rematch.

People were mesmerised by the blood and the fact that it was bothering the hell outta Fury.

Similar to the Maidana Floyd fight & Pac Horn. People get wrapped up in the roughhousing, blood and the looks of discomfort of the fighter who was expected to steamroll the overmatched opponent. People are already saying Fury's shot slipping etc. Just like they did for Ma & Pac after their respective tough fights, then look what happened. (& No I'm not putting fury on the same level a Pac & May)

All in all it was a good fight. Clear win for Fury but Wallin did himself proud. Always love when an underdog exceeds expectations, it's just annoying when fans go overboard after the fact.

        Wallin fought better than Wilder.

The cut should be fine by February. Hoping they don't drag that Wilder rematch any longer, losing interest fast

Im not sure which rematch you are talking about...but of course he would if there was one. He gained invaluable experience in that bout and there is a reason Fury doesn't do rematches ala Klitschko. It's because his opponents realise he is all smoke and mirrors. He is a carnie and like all carnies...once you have seen their show and how it ends...the next time has no surprises. Fury is going to bark the same old same old but this time Wilder won't be listening. He will go back to being himself and smash Fury out of there and back into retirement....minus his "lineal" championship.

Cheer up pal, you guys should be use to these calamities in Tyson's career by now if you been following the traveling circus-show.

I was talking about Otto Wallin. He did it for Wladimir Klitschko and the rest of the Germans, Wallin made the Huns proud last night.

At least Fury didnt get knocked down twice in this fight.
I can see why hes targeting fighters outside the top 50.

I don't get the praise for Wallin he did better than expected but really didn't win more than 4 rounds

I guess people are impressed he wasn't run over like Schwarz in 2 rounds but let's be real here it wasn't an amazing performance
