  • Comments Thread For: Devin Haney: Put Me On A Plane, I'll Fight Ryan Garcia Saturday!

NEW YORK--Fresh off his latest win, Devin Haney was literally ready to fight tomorrow. The 20-year old Las Vegas-based boxer claimed an interim lightweight title following a one-sided beatdown of Russia's Zaur Abdullaev in their DAZN headliner Friday evening at Madison Square Garden's Hulu Theater in New York City. The bout took place just hours after a bizarre scene unfolded which left unbeaten prospect Ryan Garcia without an opponent for another DAZN show scheduled for Saturday in Carson, Calif.

Easy work for Haney, Ryan admires his work too much and slaps his shots still but he has improved his defense a little and being more patient!

Haney is scary cuz he’s not even in his prime and is being talked about fighting Lomachennko while Garcia is fighting convicts with arrest warrants!

Haney is grossly overated watching his fight last night you can see he tends to push his punches a lot and doesn’t carry ko power but he wants to be slick similar to broner but like Broner gets hit easily by wild stuff and like Broner he tends to not react good when hit.

Garcia hits like a truck and is quick too he catches and lays out Haney cold.

Funny tho how ppl here love to hate Garcia but Haney is the one acting ****y already desire fighting straight bums and he went several rds with menard a guy Teofimo starched cold In 1 rd.lol

Cmon man you damn well no boxer will say that ****tt.

            You know better than that.

If you don’t then you probably believe Floyd also said Margarito was “too tough for him” when ppl were saying he was ducking him.

Lol. You criticized Haney rather harshly, but we can certainly do the same for Garcia. Talk about being there to be hit...

Why do you think Garcia wants more money to fight Duno?

Haney is definitely the more talented prospect, but I still like this fight. Would be good exposure for both.
