Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz: I Won't Talk Wilder, Fury Fights; Focus Only On Joshua

NEW YORK Andy Ruiz Jr. won't make the same mistake Anthony Joshua made before their first fight. The IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion repeatedly has been asked during this three-day, three-country press tour to discuss potential future fights against Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury. Ruiz would love to fight the winner of their rematch, but he won't even discuss those possibilities until after his immediate rematch with Joshua on December 7 in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

Yeah you better concentrate on getting knocked out by AJ. Even if you somehow win again your next fight is your loss. You can either get beat up for 12 rounds by Fury or you can go in the 1st or 2nd round against Wilder. Don't get too comfortable on your throne Jeff Horn Jr.

why all the hate on andy? if joshua couldn't KO him in round 3 with those 2 super hard shots (especially that perfect right. didn't even faze andy) then andy will KO joshua again. Fury can't hurt ruiz and can't dance all night. andy's body shots will chop down that tall tree. andy is a lot better boxer than wilder. andy's toughest fight would be against wilder though. also wilder could lose to ortiz. he'll be in better shape for wilder this time.

Andy had the upset of the year and is such a feel good story.

I want to see his stay at the top continue.

Jeff Horn Jr... that's pretty freaking low. Did he eat your Snickers bar or something?

Really! Wow ! All you Joshua fans better hope you guy doenst have a melt down again. Ruiz is the favorite and i have seen nothing from AJ that shows me he can adapt his style. He has a glass jaw and slimming down will just decrease his punch resistance to me. I think Ruiz is just a bad style matchup for AJ.

With such confidence, it looks like you are getting ready to make a boat load of $$$ betting on Andy !!!

Whatever you do dont bet the house on him!

I would be a bit cautious with such confidence.

joshua has all the excuses in the world. that is why he will lose or lose again to someone else. he is a heavyweight version of amir khan. first he lose because he was prepared for miller and not ruiz. then he lose because it was a lucky hit. then he lose because it was sent by the gods. then he lose because he was focused on wilder. its never ruiz was the better man that night and i learned a lesson and will come back better. He is a weak chin ego driven hype job just like amir khan that never takes an L or blames themselves.
