I was embarrassed, I feel Hearns owes the fans an apology! The good reputation of the WBSS has been tarnished, this bum Del-Boy cant even win a Tough-Man contest.

That's right, no way a bum like Chisora would be taking the press conference hostage and demanding anything in the U.S.A!

Generally he’s right as well. Your casual British boxing fan cares about heavyweights first and foremost.

I mean whose the featherweight equivalent of Henry Cooper? There’s no one.
Barry McGuigan was a hugely popular featherweight in the UK. Hatton was huge as well - in popularity and fan base terms, if not in size.

These are the Scotts I read about. I dont think they softened up over the centuries. You cannot beat a cany Scott, because he's a saint, nobody said.

Chisora is an idiot but he does have a point. The way he was disrespecting Prograis and the other boxer was uncalled for, your issue is with the promoter. If the fight was in Scotland then Chisora/Parker wouldn’t be “Chief supporting”. They would be straight in the undercard for Taylor/Prograis.

And am guessing when he signed his contract the fight wasn’t meant to be PPV, now that Taylor/Prograis has been added unto it and it’s now a PPV he probably wanted a bit of money for it happening in London, which is meant to be his hometown.

He should be talking to his manager (Haye), he needs to stop all these emotional outbursts, I mean it did create a bit of a presser but people aren’t going to be taking him seriously anymore.

Del Boy isn't holding anybody hostage. He's just playing the fool. "If I'm not headlining the show, give me more money"

                Yeah right!

Del is right, but that's also the problem. The main event is top level boxing at its finest . But names sell more than talent. Del is a heavyweight gatekeeper , end of. Love the guy but he has spat the dummy here

He probably makes some valid points. Casuals lap up his behaviour. They'll pay more attention now after today.

I'm looking forward to the fights, it's a great card IMO. Chisora Vs Parker is a real solid fight..but Taylor Vs Prograis is a excellent fight.

I think the card needs both fights. One for the hardcore fans, one for guys just tuning in for the HWs.

What I'm guessing is that he assumed he was going to be headlining the show and threw a tantrum when he saw Prograis and Taylor in the centre of the backdrop poster and realised they were the main event, not him and Parker.
