Comments Thread For: Hearn: Haney Will Call Lomachenko's Name After Next Fight

Eddie Hearn realizes he and Devin Haney have plenty of work to do before Haney-Vasiliy Lomachenko becomes a fight Lomachenko might embrace. Haney can become the mandatory challenger for Lomachenko's WBC lightweight title by winning his next fight. That won't be enough to ensure Haney gets the chance to face one of the best boxers, pound-for-pound, in the sport.

There is a chance that Bumchenko will fight Devin Haney considering most of his ( Vasily's ) experience came from beating up teenagers in three rounders in the amateurs -- about 500 of them, but Devin is almost 21 years old entering his prime, so that's pushing the limit for Vasily, and this one is slick so that's a deal breaker.

For these idiots like Bradley acting as if Terrence Crawford should have had an Errol Spence fight yesterday, by the same ridiculous logic Loma should step away from the Commey and Lopez winner to just fight Haney right?

Let’s see it because clearly there are no obstacles to making cross promotional fights at Top Rank.

What the hell are you talking about?

Crawford vs Spence would be a unification and the best fight boxing has to offer.

Lomachencko vs Haney would be a mandatory that only benefits Haney. Loma won't get credit if he beats the prospect.

          See the difference?

Haney is nothing special imo. Teofimo would even beat his ass. Id rather watch Loma fight Lopez-Commey winner for all the belts at 135.

If Loma becomes undisputed he'll probably be named Franchise Champion.

watching boxing because that is one of the dumbest statements ever said on here. The kid is a super gifted fighter with all the goods to be the next real superstar in boxing. I f you haven't seen much of him just say that but don't make a dumb statement!

Loma not really thinking about Haney. He plans to face the Commey vs Lopez winner then move back down to 130 for Berchelt, Davis or Farmer imo.
