    O2 Arena, London - In a crossroads heavyweight showdown, former world champion Alexander Povetkin (35-2, 24 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Hughie Fury (23-3, 13 KOs). All three judges scored it 117-111 for Povetkin.

              Hughie Fury did well for such a young guy. I think he'll find his successes in the later part of his career a la Dereck Chisora.

                  That now puts an end to Hughes claim to be top contender. It would be a good match for Hughie and David Price for a domestic match up otherwise there's nothing really out for him now.

                    Solid cards. Povetkin is old but is skilled and hughie fury just is not good enough, or atleast not good enough. We can run a comb through Fury's performance but the truth is he isn't on Povetkin level quality wise, he wasn't good enough to use the advantages he did have.

                    Hughie Fury is a good fighter but he's not at the level of the guys he wants to fight.
