This dude is done. Went 13-1-1 fighting bs opponents at JMW up to about 180lbs. Gets KO'd in 1 vs his best opponent by a mile. Doesnt fight for 2yrs. Gains 40lbs & gets a W4 over a 0-3 guy at HW & now hes fighting Spong.

In boxing usyk would coast past Spong. if this was kickboxing though Spong would beat the .... Out of usyk. But this is boxing so usyk wins handidly though I believe Spong would have moments.

If Usyk wasn’t such a great boxer, this would be interesting. When i used to follow Muay Thai years ago, Spong was one of the best LHW in the world. He’s got A LOT of ring experience.

Spong definitely has a punchers chance, especially since he’s huge nowdays, presumably from taking PED’s.
I remember watching him in a fight with Nathan ‘carnage’ Corbett (elbow master) in Muay Thai. They were very evenly matched - weight, power, size etc. Carnage ko’d him. They did a rematch 2 years later and Spong was obviously bigger size, more powerful etc and ko’d Carnage. The power difference was clearly noticeable in the rematch... No wonder these guys take performance enhancing drugs.
His physique changed similar to that of Holyfield.
