Comments Thread For: Figueroa, Fulton Eye Head-On Collision Following KO Wins In Texas

Apparently, it wasn't an accident that Brandon Figueroa and Stephen Fulton were on the same telecast Saturday evening. The pair of unbeaten super bantamweights were both victorious in separate bouts serving as part of Saturday's Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on FS1 card in Edinburg, Texas. Fulton (17-0, 8KOs) looked sensational in taking out previously unbeaten Isaac Avelar in six rounds, the third win of 2019 for the Philadelphia (Pa.)-bred prospect.

On the face of it, Fulton is way too slick for Figueroa. Figueroa looks like a crude ****er, but he said he could box in the interview. I didn't see it, he had a punching bag in front of him and he still looked raw.

Risky move for Brandon! Brandon is sitting at WBA #1, and Fulton is ranked #13 by the WBA! I would've rather go for broke, and fought Rigondeaux if he wanted it, or even moved up to 126 for Leo Santa Cruz! Fulton is going to be a problem! He's a hungry Philly fighter who has nothing to lose! Good under card fight for Wilder vs. Ortiz, or Garcia vs. Garcia if that ever happens...MAN UP!

I really like how Fulton fights, he's slick, clinical and goes for guys with undefeated records regularly. Beat Josh Greer and Paulus Ambunda in his young career already. This guy can go pretty far.
