Carlos Takam still very much wishes to remain in the hunt to face Oleksandr Usyk. All he asks for is a fair shake at making the fight happen. The veteran heavyweight contender was previously scheduled to land the assignment, only for their planned May 25 clash to get scrapped after Usyk suffered a torn biceps which delayed plans for his heavyweight debut. Now healed and ready to fight, the 2012 Olympic Gold medalist for Ukraine and former World cruiserweight king is penciled in for an Oct. 12 DAZN-******ed headliner at Wintrust Arena on DePaul University campus in Chicago, Ill.
