Yarde went for broke w/ Kovalev, why didn’t GGG not Mexican style?

What if Kovalev just flung his jab a thousand times to have Yarde continuously reset since Yarde never had answers for Kovalev’s jab anyways?

Kova wanted to put a show as did Yarde. Both Yarde and Kovalev didn’t taunt or promote a style and then not do it. Why does GGG get a pass for doing that? Why would Canelo fight a boxer a third time if the Kazakh doesn’t want to fight?

He hasn't really gotten a pass though, alot of people criticized him for it. He adjusted the best he could given the trouble he had in the first half of the fight. He underestimated Canelo for sure

you guys must not have ever watched golvokin fight! he had 350 amateur fights. 350 of them! he's always fought with the jab first. you are not going to be able to do anything else after 40+ pro fights and an amateur career like that! canelo being able to outjab him basically meant the fight could not be won! golovkin's feet and reflexes have slowed just enough that he's going to have trouble getting off first, landing the shorter shots and the meaningful shots in exchanges, and dealing with canelo's boxing at a distance.

fighting canelo one last time should be the cash out strategy for golovkin. i really think that's best for maxing money, and that's what they're doing. once you lose decisively to canelo, which is going to happen next time, you lose all of your capital. so you make yourmoney with inflated purses in the interim, and fight canelo in your last dazn fight for huge F#ckin money. win, probably lose, or draw, you make the most money that way for your 3-4 dazn fights. mix
