Comments Thread For: Fury Confident 'Judges Will Do The Right Thing' in Wilder Rematch

Tyson Fury remains even more confident of winning a rematch than he is in the belief that he beat Deontay Wilder the first time they met. The pair of unbeaten heavyweights appear ready to finally to settle the dispute in the ring. Fury revealed during a promotional tour on various ESPN shows plans in place for their anticipated rematch to take place Feb. 22. Sources from both fighters' camps confirmed the working date to BoxingScene.com, although there remain several details to work out, along with the need for each to win their next scheduled fight.

If Fury won 8 rounds, that would make the fight a draw. He loses a point for each round he was knocked down leaving him with 6 points. If Wilder won 4 rounds and got a extra point for each knock down that leaves him with 6 points. I don't see how people called it a robbery. Every judge doesn't see the fight the same, it was a close fight that ended up being a draw.

He literally had a draw against the top guy in the division, but he's not championship material?

Fury gonna make Wilder look even worse than he did the first time. Wilder should be ashamed to even pretend he is a champ still. Fury is the king of the division.

They won't have to... Wilder by KO in the 8th.

I did the math and you are 100 percent right. But with the fight being that close it's still not a robbery.

8 rounds to Fury was a fair score, with boxing's scoring, that would make it 114 Fury to 112 Wilder, you don't gain an extra point for a knockdown and your opponent loses and extra point, only your opponent loses an extra point.

Example, the winner of a knockdown round usually wins the round 10-8, not 11-8..
