If Kovalev is so easy to beat then Yarde better beat him. It won't look good for the Englishman to lose to such a pushover when Yarde is supposed to be a huge puncher. My money is on Kovalev to do the knocking out. Ward stopped him with ball punches and the fight should not have been given to Ward by KO. Ward should have lost points for repeated low blows and Kovalev should have been given 5 minutes to recover from illegal low blows. The ref later admitted he was wrong. Alvarez can punch very hard. You are going way too much on KO percentage which can be misleading.

I just watched Yardes most recent fight against Reeves.

      Kovalev by KO.

Yards seems like a good fighter but I can't see him beating Kovalev.

Kovalev has a hell of a lot of excellent wins to his credit for you to be calling him a hypejob. I don't think he is a hypejob at all. He is an excellent champion who is over the hill. You said yesterday that Yarde was a sure thing to beat the brakes off of Kovalev. Maybe you are just a poor judge of boxing talent. We will find out in 4 days.

Yarde has not done much. His best win is over a guy rated 36th in the world by boxrec.

The knockout % isn't always an accurate measurement of power. Sometimes a fighter has a resume full of boxers with good chins, or they had hand injuries, or other factors.

Any fighter at the top level is dangerous. It's the punches you don't see coming that do the most damage.
