Where is the boxing media on this? It's the worst kept secret in the sport yet not a single writer sees fit to cover it?Comment

Well the last two times a PBC fighter fought a Top Rank one for a WBO belt, Gary Russell was pantsed on live television by Vasyl Lomachenko and Peter Quillin literally dropped his belt at Haymon’s behest to not fight Matvey Korobov.
Heck when it was a WBC title at stake and not a WBO one, Adonis Stevenson literally got put in a coma by Oleksander Gvozdyk.
Im guessing Haymon much rather pretend the WBO’s champions are frauds then to attempt to prove it and instead he proved the fraud.

Don't blame Arum for always making sure he has one of the organizations under his thumb, blame the media and networks for going along with it. Arum is just doing his job. He's the reason we have four belts instead of two, but nobody forced the media and networks to accept or embrace it.Comment

PBC has champions with the WBC and the IBF too, not just the WBA.
There's no exclusive relationship like the WBO seems to have with Top Rank.
Shame on the media for being derelict in their duty to report on this. Either they don't care or they are afraid of angering a major power broker in the sport.
It is disgraceful and a bad look for them regardless.Comment
