It didn't sit well with Andrew Selby to see his lone in-ring conqueror next land a title shot he's long craved. The pain was eased, however, with the promise of his own career moving forward.
The fallen flyweight contender is set for his first fight back following a shocking stoppage loss to Mexico's Julio Cesar Martinez, as the 30-year old Welshman has been added to a recently announced September 13 show at Caesars Palace in Dubai.
An opponent has yet to be announced for his place on the show, which is topped by Pakistan's Muhammed Waseem who fights for the first time since a failed title bid last summer.
"I'm very excited to be back and I plan on putting on a good show," promises Selby (11-1, 6KOs). "I've always wanted to go to Dubai so I'm really looking forward to fighting there on a huge card."
