Fast rising welterweight prospect Vergil Ortiz (14-0 14 KOs) put on his best performance to date this past Saturday when he stream rolled former title challenger Antonio Orozco (28-2) in 6 rounds in Grand Prairie, Texas on a Golden Boy Promotions' card that was streamed on DAZN.

I'm a fan of both. Hopefully they both keep winning in dominating fashion and the fight happens in 2021 at 154.

I think Jaron Boots Ennis and Virgil Ortiz will be a super fight down the line at 147, but Ennis gotta get his pronotional ish fixed quickly before he rots on the sidelines.

Boots is back in action next Saturday. He was damn near one of the most active young prospects in the game and then ran into managerial issues that kept him sidelined all year.

Hopefully he signs a big deal with a network/promoter/advisor very soon. Time to get in the title hunt!

Why isn't he with Haymon yet? Smh! Anyway I hope it all works out. I foresee him and Ortiz being the final bosses in the division.

I think by the time they challenge for titles Spence and Crawford will have settled the score and moved up already.

But it also seems Ortiz intends to follow Spence upwards. Ennis is huge too he could totally move up and fight Spence I suppose.

Spence gonna have so many options even when he moves up.

He is with Cameron Dunkin who often times did business with Top Rank. I don't know how good their relationship is now, but wouldn't be surprised to see Ennis sign with Top Rank.

Ennis could change the landscape of the WW division for whatever network he signs with. If he signs with TR? Then all of a sudden Crawford has a future opponent and Ennis could take a belt or two away from the PBC fighters. If he signs with DAZN, then they have two of the best youngsters at that weight class and can control the division for years to come. And if he signs with the PBC, then he pretty much just takes Spence's spot at the top once he leaves the division.

What other youngster besides Virgil Ortiz does DAZN have at welterweight that could possibly fight Ennis if he was to sign with DAZN??

Youngsters other than these two? No one, but which promotional company/network will be able to match these two anyways? No one else has two young fighters as good as these two at WW....If Ennis is to sign with DAZN.

Spence will duck Vergil when the time comes. Just like Spence is ducking Crawford.

Ortiz wouldn't do good against Spence not even in 2 or 3 years later [if Spence still in the game] unless he switches trainers down the road cause Robert trained Mikey to fight Spence and look how that turned out. And while we can point the obvious that Mikey is not a natural welterweight there's no denying his (Mikey) skills are far more superior than Ortiz. Mikey went the distance with Spence (despite being a moral victory), Ortiz will not.
