Both signed contracts to fight in Saudi Arabia ....it doesn't look that way....!
He signed the rematch when he signed the first contract and it's legally binding.

The only way he's not going to Saudi Arabia and keeping those belts is to retire. He signed his life away already regardless of his posturing.

The first-ever Mexican boxer to win a heavyweight title has been celebrated on both sides of the United States/Mexico border, with either country remaining his hosting preference for a contractually-bound rematch.

Instead, the word from Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn is that part two is set for Dec. 7 at a yet-to-be-erected venue in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. News of the location was met with immediate and vocal reaction, a considerable amount negative but none of it involving the defending titlist himself.

      At least until now.

"I know everyone is talking about the (second) fight and all that," Ruiz (33-1, 22KOs) noted on Tuesday through his verified social media channels. "We got the real news coming soon, but the fight is gonna happen soon.

"AJ got the rematch, yes we do got the rematch. But it's gonna be on my term(s) on our term(s). We're gonna bring it back here in the United States."

Just reminds me of Rahman and his one minute of fame. Joshua will beat up this guy.

Now I understand why some of these guys are poor even though they pretend to be humble.

Lol ...it's going to court mate ...that's where it's heading and then maybe these ridiculous rematch slave contracts will be done away with. This is exactly why Dillion Whyte refused to fight Joshua.Yes a lot of money involved but why the majority to the promoter and the loser! I know i'd tell Eddie the same thing ....see you in court !
Where ever it takes place ...if it does...Hearn knows Joshua will get bounced around the ring again that's why he's making excuses up for the piss pot of a country with all the money .... it's a smash and grab BUT the police are at the scene!!!

I must be one of only a few but I’m actually looking forward to idea of travelling to Saudi Arabia now. Will need to be priced sensibly but if so I’m going to try and get a ticket - will be a super experience I reckon

AJ… He’s scared. Hell yeah, why do you think he’s over there, trying to make the fight in Saudi Arabia,” insists Ruiz Jr.

              This fat clown

Andy, Fury, Khan, Broner....how in the FU CK can these CVNTS have any fans ?!?!?!?

Ruiz is the champ and not Joshua fight should be in his terms, KSA just want to cover-up its HR abuse.

Pure madness. I don't know what's going on anymore.

I can't wait for Eddie Hearn's response to this news.

If AJ is scared for trying to make the fight in SA then how must be Ruiz scared for trying to make it in the US?

And get his ass beaten in court and lose all his earnings on damages for not making the second fight happen and go broke and homeless????? Yeah good luck with that.
