Josh Warrington has an opponent for his next hometown title defense. Promoter Frank Warren announced Wednesday that Warrington will defend his IBF featherweight championship against France's Sofiane Takoucht on October 12 at First Direct Arena in Leeds, England. The Warrington-Takoucht fight will be broadcast by BT Sport in the United Kingdom and streamed by ESPN+ in the United States.

Hopefully he can get a fight with Shakur Stevenson later this year? Where's Robson Conceição? Dude is 30! Why isn't he being fast-tracked?

This is what Frank Warren does. Look at the Fury fights so far; Liam Smith, BJS, T Flanagan.. runied Calzaghe’s legacy, Khan, Naz & Hatton all knew and took themselves to the US. No wonder Eddie Hearn flourished when he took over the UK fight scene.

Terrible opponents but warrington has consistently fought top opposition so ill give him a pass for this one. The IBF usually has ****y rankings aswell so they are also part of the blame. How did that dude get ranked 4th? Lol...

You are way too damn insecure and intimidated by Warrington's success, all because of your racial bias.

Justify fighting THE WORST possible contender by saying You wanted to unify.

There were still probably 50 contenders in the division who'd present better challange and be more deserving than Takoucht.

...No real complains - Warrington is on tough run - but call it as it is. It's a tune-up and Takoucht is not world level fighter.
IBF champions can only fight contenders from their top 15. Not those out or from other sanctioning bodies unless its a champ for a unification

Oh no. In his Top 15, there's Stevenson or Tepora. Why fight nobody?

Picking victor's has nothing to do with this. Your off-the-cuff superiority statement encapsulates your racial bias. It is glaringly obvious that you are clearly insecure and it doesn't take a second semester in psychology to see that in your original statement.
