  • Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson: Ruiz Beat Joshua Once, He Can Beat Him Again

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson feels Andy Ruiz is more than capable of repeating his big upset performance from back in June. Before a packed crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Ruiz dropped Joshua four times to secure a seventh round stoppage, and in the process he captured the WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO world titles.

    Mike Tyson is a hater.

Two years ago, Hype-Tyson crowned Anthony Joshua 'King' of the HW after beating a washed Klitschko from behind, despite the fact that Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder was the longest reigning champion of HW division.

Hype-Tyson shares many things in common with A.J, most notably that they both quit against massive underdogs. Joshua might retire after this rematch with Andy Ruiz like Hype-Tyson did following his embarrassing surrender to Kevin McBride.

I also noticed that once again the convicted rapist Hype-Tyson is always low-key hating on his fellow American boxers who surpass him. I cant believe that he said Canelo Alvarez is the best in the sport, yet the lineal/undisputed three weight champion Terence Crawford is universally considered #1. P4P by those who know boxing.

      Mike is right so listen

The reason I know he's right, it's because Evander Holyfield beat that a_s twice!

Tyson Fury already whooped your boy, he walking around with Fury's belt and it kills you. What kills you even more is that a black man is "hating" on your hero who already lost his belt to a white fat man. Wilder has surpassed no one his resume was Chavez Jr bad til just recently. Both times he stepped up his sloppiness was on full display. Next year Fury takes what is already his. Wilder should be ashamed, parading around with a belt everyone you included knows he lost.

I highly doubt Ruiz will beat AJ again. Even if he does, Tyson or Wilder will kill him.

A loss to Ruiz again will prove AJ was a hype job, but won't prove Ruiz is as good as the other top level HWs.

Of course he can, saying this though I expect AJ to fight a completely different fight in the rematch

I know it kills you that Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder will surpass Hype-Tyson for most consecutive title defenses in the HW division when Bombsquad deals with Luis Ortiz for TEN straight. OR is it that Deontay reaches this historical mark by getting credited for successfully defending the most prestigious WBC HW title against Tyson Fury?

You got Otto Wallin to worry about, come back and see me when Gypsy-Bum decides to fight a real one.

i give tyson a lot more credit than you do. he was no hype job. just lost his focus with new trainers and handlers and then prison. i agree with you that alvarez is not the best boxer today

Washed Micheal Spinks, old-man Larry Holmes, going the distance with Hype-job Tony Tucker, these are considered Hype-Tyson best wins -- but I think the gifted lineal cruiserweight Alfonzo Ratliff is up there in the top 3 on Mike's resume, considering he was closer to his prime.
