Demetrius Andrade's name has finally been remembered by a top middleweight. Whether it's to hammer out a deal or only to be used as bait will be revealed in due time. The unbeaten middleweight titlist appears to be the next candidate in line to land a dream fight with World middleweight champion Saul Canelo' Alvarez, although there still remains a long road ahead.

From what I've read, GBP filed an exception to the IBF to be allowed to negotiate a fight with Andrade on August 1, 2019, however that was past the deadline to deal with Dervy! Somehow, the deadline for exceptions had past because they had ordered to deal with ONLY Dervy at that point! Had they been negotiating with Andrade from the jump, none of this would've happened!

IMO, Andrade is being used. His style is too difficult for either Canelo or GGG
