The legendary Mexican coach and member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, Ignacio 'Nacho' Beristin, celebrated 80 years of life on July 31. He's regarded as one of the greatest champions in Mexican boxing. Originally from Veracruz, Beristin has been linked to the boxing scene from a young age, but for 58 years he has been doing it from the corner of the ring, where he has guided some of the best Mexican fighters of all time.

Nacho is hands down the greatest trainer in boxing today and one of the all time greats.

      Chiquita González
      Ricardo Lopez
      Rafael Marquez
      Juan Manuel Marquez
To name a few how many trainers today have taken as many fighters as nacho had from the ground up and turned them into HOFs.

Nacho is easily the greatest trainer in boxing today not overrated guys like Roach, Maywwsther sr, Hunter etc

        More power to him!

The guy's a master at this point. Glad to see him still getting it! Keeps you young to follow your pursuits. To hell with age.

        Go Nacho!!

                Great trainer.

But right now his best fighter is Rey Vargas who is a dull and mediocre champion.
