Keep ignoring that if you want.

Canelo won't fight Golovkin, with the way things are going, he's not going to spit Golovkin's way until he's got no other option.

Andrade next, Kovalev possibly after that, Callum Smith is in the wings, and Jermall Charlo may even get the chance to jump the line, lol.
Here we with another topic change...gave up on arguing Canelo isn’t an employee? Amazing, when you folks are done with the straw man and realize you aren’t changing anyone’s mind you move to the next set of bullshhht

Since Schaefer was guiding Canelo to PPV, Saul Alvarez has been getting points on the package for his shows; I believe Canelo was on a 80%-85% of the take share.

The Mexico TV runs directly through Alvarez, as does the sponsorship deal, so what the **** are you talking about?

Golden Boy Promotions doesn't dictate **** at this point, and even you shouldn't be this dumb

Floyd had arguably the most freedom providing agreement in history of the sport...yet he had to go and present fighters he wanted to fight to Showtime and both sides had to agree. Now Floyd was Floyd, with Haymon trying to use his name to build PBC. If that man had to go present fighters being bigger than Canelo STILL you are telling me nobody dictates to Canelo? Really? I'm sorry fam but I don't know what galaxy you folks live in where me as a promoter walks you into the biggest contract on paper in the sports history and I don't look out of my best interest. I don't know how as a media company I allow a promoter to walk into my office to get his fighter the biggest contract on paper in boxing history and don't look out for my best interest. At which of those two points is anyone involved looking out for Canelo? Like take a step away from being a fan of the man, replace Canelo with ANY other boxer and tell me you honestly believe they don't get dictated to in one way or another...if you honestly think that's the case then there is no point in continuing this conversation. The sad truth is much like the fighter himself, y'all also think he's bigger than business and the sport somehow. He ain't Lebron fam, seriously, even Lebron couldn't say "fk it i'm not playing for 6 months". Right now Canelo is finding out what you folks are ignoring, them contracts don't fk around and work in your favor, they work in the favor of who offers them. I know this first hand as I have been on both sides of these types of contracts as a business person..when they aren't in your favor....it sucks. I do hope he can work his way through it and come out clean on the other side without losing years of his career behind litigation. my feeling is he'll take the money and do what he's told. Just life, and too much money to ignore.

DAZN paid for 10 and 1 Canelo fights, and already have gotten two fights, with the third in talks now.

The approved list went from "you gotta fight Golovkin" to "fight Kovalev or Golovkin" to now being "here's 7 possible opponents that we'd view as viable fights" lol.

Canelo still wants and desires to have good fights, but you're looking real dumb, knowing what we already know now, still thinking that anyone is dictating to Canelo who he's going to fight.

Oscar didn't walk Canelo into ****; by the time the Schaefer split even happened, Canelo was already a made fighter, basically being the sole fighter in the black affiliated with Golden Boy. Golden Boy getting their side deal off of Canelo's name is why things are in dispute right now, lol.

Kovalev fights the 24th; if he wins, he'll get another offer to fight Canelo.

            Not that complicated

He flexed on DAZN....where is this flex? He's not an employee but the list went from...I mean make up your mind. Does he work for DAZN or doesn't he? This whole argument has been about that one talking point.

Derevchenko was approved because of Canelo's knee and because he would be considered a tune-up. Mofo's talking about he flexed. He's the employee, not the owner, welcome to the real world. They have a contract he has to honor, he doesn't..well we've seen how well he does in courts fighting contracts...

Boxing Scene should sticky this thread and rename it "delusional fanboys"
Off topic but we talked awhile back about IPTV. Which app did you say you use for live TV and why did you say you didnt like GearsTV?

Targetin1080 is a b**ch, guy built gears and his fortune off the work of other people. Gears, as it is today, is eternaltv with a different overlay. Eternal now has the four screens at once now..I watched two different fights on the left side with a baseball game and espn 30 for 30 fight on the other two on the right side. Sick as fk, see if you can get into their private facebook group as well after you sign up. If you need a referral let me know.
