  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Joshua Will Decide Rematch Location - NOT Andy Ruiz

Eddie Hearn, promoter for Anthony Joshua, has made it clear that his boxer will be the one who decides where the Andy Ruiz rematch takes place. There has been a lot of talk, mainly from Ruiz, stating that he's the A-side of the equation and holds the keys to the rematch location.

If femmi takes it in the uk he looks totally weak running back to where he gets protected off the officials, be a man and go back to the scene of the crime. Ruiz should call the shots now he is the champ simple, don't go to uk champ you will be robbed, the first time you get even rocked or caught clean the ref will jump in and stop it, so keep holding your ground champ, f**k what Eddie ***** says, he's a p***k

No point in saying you don't like your contract after you've signed it. That being said, I think it would be best if Joshua chose to return to the Garden for vengeance - but the choice is his, contractually.

Okay, so if this is true and it IS Anthony’s choice then it really shows your heart pumps kool aid if you have to run back home to mommy and daddy the second a ref doesn’t let you call your own time out

First fight was in USA so it is fair enough that a rematch takes place in Uk.

Nobody had no problem with Tyson Fury pulling out twice against Klitscko when there was a contract. Ruiz can screw them over and agree and pull out twice due to injury and then Joshua will take an interim fight instead and that breaks the contract. They can strip him of the titles but fact is fact he beat AJ and can go and fight Wilder for the undisputed Heavyweight title

NYC is closer to Mexico than to the UK.

So, in actuality, AJ fought on Andy's turf.

Fight wilder for a fraction of the money ? Or fight a guy he’s already knocked out for big money

Weird logic to think Ruiz would back out of that crazy money
