I will give Thurman props that he took his first loss respectfully and didnt come up with no lame ass excuses and didnt cry "I was robbed" or "I thought I won" like many so called champions do every time they lose - aka Broner aka Cotto.

He gave his best and tried to win as well, unlike Broner vs Pac, Mikey vs Spenc or Khan vs Crawford.
