  • Comments Thread For: Roach: Pacquiao Will KO Thurman and Then Call Out Mayweather

Hall of Famer trainer Freddie Roach believes that Manny Pacquiao's experience will be the main difference this Saturday, when he faces undefeated WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman. Roach also believes that the power, aggressiveness and speed of the Filipino will allow him to finish the battle by knockout in nine rounds, and then he intends to ask Floyd Mayweather to come out of retirement to give him the rematch.

... in case Pacman KO's Thurman there will make no sense to call out Floyd -- he will not show up...

That will be bad on Floyd if he doesn't man up.

He called out Pac in a Japan last year for a rematch. If he denies that. He would look like a flakin' biatch haha

I want Pac to win but Roach talks a load of crap before every fight. He said Fury wold knock Wilder out with his 1-2 before that fight. He normally says the opposite of what his fighter is going to do

Pretty sure the fight would go the same way as the first. Floyd has his number

Hey spoon, can you explain this meme and analogy to me? I'm trying to understand what it all means. We know Floyd is not fat like your mouse here. We know he's a man of means and doesn't live in anything like a mouse hole. What exactly does the mouse represent?

BTW, it really will look bad if Manny doesn't call out Spence (an active fighter) who's fight he went to see, went in the ring and Spence so humbly and honorably asked for the fight. I guess that would look like this mouse hole thingy (whatever that means) to you.

Lol. floyd will never rematch pac, he knows that he was given a gift win against an injured pac, how much more if pac is 100%, it would be a total annihilation.

Floyd coming back to fight Manny would be indicative of Floyd's greed, and Manny's need for a serious payday.

The fact remains that Floyd absolutely SCHOOLED Manny in their "Fight of the Century." There is nothing more to be seen, gained, or learned from that fight. Manny, if he is serious about finishing his 3-fight deal fighting the absolute best and if he beats Thurman, should be calling out the winner of Spence-Porter. No other fight, outside of Crawford/Spence, is desired to be seen at Welterweight. PERIOD
