Comments Thread For: Luis Nery: I'm Not Moving Up Until I Win All Four Titles!

Mexico's Luis Nery does not intend to move up to super bantamweight until after winning all of the belts in the bantamweight division, and that is why he hopes to demonstrate his quality this July 20 in Las Vegas against Juan Carlos Payano. And then he wants to start collecting championships from fighters like Zolani Tete, Naoya Inoue, Nordine Oubaali and whoever appears.

The Monster will crush this drug cheat as well. Get revenge for his countryman.

I'm cool with his thinking. I got the Monster all day but I like Nery. I see him beating everyone at the weight except N.Inoue. He has to fight guys better than Payano though. Tete and the other Inoue should be immediate targets

The next 4 kings will emerge from this division, just because of the amount of talent and skill the champs, contenders, and prospects in this division.

          1980s: Leonard-Duran-Hearns-Hagler

          2000s: Barrera-Morales-Pacquiao-Marquez

          2020s: Nery-Inoue-?-?

              About Nery

              Nery cannot fight in Japan.

I've watched Oubaali and he's quality. Jason Moloney, Joshua Greer Jr or Joshua Franco (if he gets another W against Negrete in his trilogy fight) could be good seeing as they're young up and comers.

Oubaali Is quality. Not on Inoue or Nery’s level, but could be formidable.

If you saw that Villanueva performance, it was nigh on flawless and Villanueva is a tough nut. He didn't throw a bad punch, he's got power, handspeed, movement. He's a physical beast. Nery or Takuma Inoue should fear what this man can do seeing as they're lined up to fight him.
