FRANK WARREN believes Joe Joyce will be challenging for the world heavyweight title inside a year. The fast rising Putney heavyweight isn't messing around and defends his WBA Gold heavyweight crown against former world title challenger Bryant Jennings (24-3, 14KOs) at London's o2 Arena on Saturday night (July 13), live on BT Sport.

There are no guys like Usyk that's one guy who already fought Joyce after he won gold and Joyce didn't even have a foot in boxing 5 yeards ago, could be a different outcome with a 12 round fight not 5 bc Joyce would lose early rnds anyway in THAT one.

Joyce will see a title shot at some point hes not even alighned with Usyk anytime soon. And will most likely keep his 100% k.o intact after Jennings. You guys are being real selective with him ,just bc he doesn't win a title doesn't mean hes not a top boxer,if only a FEW can hand him an L .

Joyce is the only undefeated fighter outside Fury and Hrgovic who are real top ten HW's right now and Fury got a gift in his 10th fight..( don't tell me Wilder won )...really this site has real selective picking .and ready to oust anyone capable of losing but doesn't do it with the actual spot light names. lol

I don't know why many don't like Joyce. I actually really enjoy his follow up fundamentals, and he hits hard when need be, planted. Regardless of looking stiff, I think that works for him. I actually would like to see Joyce vs Ortiz. or Joyce vs Ruiz Jr. I agree with Juggernaut, the pros aint the ams. To put in perspective, Gassiev is going to Heavy, but I got Joyce KO'g guys like Gassiev. Joyce vs Parker would be a good one. Heavy boned guys got the power without much exertion. Seeing how Joyce can do back flips n sht, the guy is naturally very strong given his age and weight.

Joyce would wear down Ortiz and co. besides a very select few .

These guys are the only ones to realistically argue to be a favorite or better chance of winning.

Joshua,Wilder ,Fury ,Usyk and Ortiz ( who I think wont make it a full 12).

Wouldn't put Povetkin, Parker,Ruiz or Whyte over him.

Hrgovic is /would be a crazy fight around 50/50 if/when it happens again.

People really don't understand what a 6'6 250 plus guy who doesn't tire out means with a standout background ,according to some everyone in top 10 brutalizes him to, the word medication comes to mind . lol

good stuff. Joyce vs Hrgovic in that semi-pro bout was CLASSIC OLD SCHOOL early century HW boxing. They weren't scared to trade in the pocket round by round. Hrgovic reminds me of an Orthodox Corrie Sanders with this gloves all loose like a mantis. He just needs to let of his right hand as Sanders would with his left.

Joyce looks like a hybrid of Nestor Gibbs fuzed with a Eubank Jr. lol. Not sure if that's a good thing.

Is Joyce still with Haymon? Thought he left and his lb ranking looks suspect at the PBC website now

Nestor Gibbs ? The thought of me doing some hard liquor and a few beers then boxing ( I actually did that) come to mind and he still cant box sober.

Joyce is more like a 70's Foreman style with less off balance punching,he doersnt swing for the fences unless hes measuring them, hes actually real smooth puncher with short chippy hard shots ...take a look at that short left in the Lenroy Thomas fight . To be like Gibbs he would be ducking for cover with the slightest offense .

Joyce is with Booth ,not sure if that's connected with Haymon . He should have stuck with Abel a little longer who was making him work behind a jab and maintain range without dodging with leaps wasted movement,he didn't look as good in his last fight with Ustonov but ???? Joyce as is still doesn't change my post.

Only he can improve or stay the same? I have a feeling hes just going to stay an awkward fighter where posters continue to say how hes going to lose to everyone while he keeps winning. lol

Hrgovic is more like Vitali Klitchko . Not so easy to get a win off and will show it in the pros.

Not sure if you're arguing with me or agreeing with me because in a prior post you admitted Usyk would be the favorite over Joyce .
