Is this Charlo fella just going to be in a showcase fight forever or what?

If you're looking for a big fight you shouldn't be fighting a guy like Adams.
Nobody's ducking Charlo because he's not relevant.
Charlo should pray Yarde KO's Kovalev and maybe Xmas comes early and he gets a fight with the diva in Dec.

Man, this Charlo fella got lots of meaningful options.
Yet he chooses to pick Jack Adams-level types.
Jeff Horn is more courageous than this weak-willed fella.
Murata would be a good choice. That would really get him international exposure and most likely a good paycheck. That would've an interesting fight.

will give him a shot in May next year?

Man that will be 11 months of inactivity.

What if he's waiting for nothing?
Charlo only fights tomato cans. He's not fighting ANYONE you just named.

Hell he dont even UTTER Jacobs name no more since Danny settled that boy down

168! David Benavidez, Caleb Plant, Chis Eubank Jr that is where the $$$ is for him realistically

"Go To DAZN!" yeah that sounded like a great ideal INITIALLY but seeing how Andrade is already with DAZN and yet STILL is not even being considered for Canelo or GGG...DAZN is likely out of the question for him now and I can't really say I blame him. If Andrade was in the mix and was getting his shot at GGG and Canelo then I would say yeah time for Charlo to go over. This is where the Groupie Behavior make a lot of you look so BAD and WEAK! You want Haymon to send over fighters for Crawford from the PBC but when it comes to Charlo "He Should Sign With DAZN" "It Is Charlo Fault". I like Chris Mannix Solution! A Even Trade Off, either PBC Send over Tank Davis or Charlo and DAZN sends over Farmer or Andrade for a 1 Off just like Jose Ramirez just did to fight Maurice Hooker

Anyway, lets see what happens with Derevyenchenko vs GGG, if Derevyenchenko wins that then all of a sudden EVERYTHING CHANGES at 160. That is how boxing works, just when you think everything is going one way somebody always comes along and shake **** up just like Andy Ruiz just did

But Yeah, I say 168 for him if he can't get big fights at 160. I think a fight with him vs David Benavidez can be HUGE! To make things even bigger, if Jose Leg is good then add Jermell Charlo vs Jose Benavidez to the Mix to make things even more interesting. The Benavidez brothers are not going to sit back and let them talk sh#t without talking back!

Let's stop talking fantasy matchups and talk reality instead. Let's have an honest real discussion of the best guy that is available to fight Charlo in the real world today.

It's clear PBC isn't letting their guys fight on DAZN or ESPN (not PBC's top tier guys). Likewise, Top Rank and Matchroom are letting their guys fight on Fox or Showtime. (Before everyone pipes us, Wilder-Fury is a split network PPV, which solves the PBC-ESPN problem...and let's not pretend that Murata-Charlo or Charlo vs anyone not named Canelo or GGG is a PPV.)

GGG: Not an option. Committed to DAZN and going to fight Derevyanchenko.
Canelo: Not an option. Committed to DAZN and waiting for Kovalev.
Andrade: Not an option. Committed to DAZN.
Murata: Probably not an option. Has some relationship with TR (he's on the TR website as a TR fighter), which means he's probably he's probably committed to ESPN.
Jacobs: Not an option. Going to 168 and committed to DAZN.
Saunders: Not an option. Committed to DAZN.
Callum Smith: Not an option. 168 and committed to DAZN.
Derevyanchenko: Not an option. Going to fight GGG.
Brant: Probably too soon after getting KO'ed a few weeks ago.
Horn: Has a fight scheduled at the end of August.
Falcao: Not an option. TR fighter, committed to ESPN.

                      Who's the best option left?
Lemieux? He's fought twice in 2 years.
                      Kamil Szeremeta?
                      Liam Williams?
                      Steven Butler?
