By Cliff Rold - Being boxing's biggest moneymaker is an enviable position. Everyone within a division or three wants to fight you and will generally meet your terms. The boxing fans that loathe you are as willing, maybe more willing, as those who love you to pay big dollars for your services. It was like that for Sugar Ray...

My preference, in order from best to worst

    1. Charlo

    2. GGG

    3. Andrade

    4. Munguia

    5. Smith.

Anything else I'm just not interested in.

What if the Kovalev fight isn’t at a catchweight?

Munguia Charlo and Andrade ahead of Kovalev? Seems crazy to me. GGG and Kovalev are the most interesting options to me.

Kathy Duva already said the fight would have to be at 175. Obviously the fight is ruined if it happens even a pound under 175. 175 or bust. But since everyone has said 175 so far, everyone who has commented anyway, then Kovalev or GGG should be the fight.

Then Canelo either becomes legend and all time great or he gets dropped a buncha times and stopped

Nelo v Kovalev @175 most intriguing. No other fight comes close. U may want GGG trilogy but seeing them fight twice already makes a third the least intriguing.

Any of those names make for good rating and good numbers overall.

Yeah, I’d take Canelo vs. Kovalev at 175 over a third GGG fight. GGG should just fight Andrade next & try to get that belt. Than Canelo vs. GGG III can be to unify the Middleweight division.

If the fight happens at 175 with Kovalev, it will actually be at 175. All those pesky rehydration clauses and all... Poor Kov, the things he has to do for money.

Btw, how is his "assualt" case going, anyone knows?

First of all, this was a great article! A change for boxingscene. Lol

Kovalev at 175? This would be an EPIC fight! Epic epic! Like Pac-Man going up vs Cotto?

Would gladly pay to see that and even if Canelo gets stopped, it would not at all tarnish his reputation. Sheeet, he goes up from 160 to 175. Lol you got to respect that... and he picks the most experienced and most dangerous LHW too.
