  • Comments Thread For: Warren is Open To Making Fury vs. Miller, Hits Back at Hearn

Frank Warren, lead promoter for heavyweight contender Tyson Fury, has no issue with making a fight against Jarrell Miller. Miller was ringside earlier this month, when Fury made his Las Vegas debut with a two round destruction of Tom Schwarz at the MGM Grand.

Warren is getting senile. His stable is DOPE, thats for sure. Both Fury's and BJS are certified cheats. Doesnt surprise me with Miller being considered...

Miller is currently suspended after failing three pre-fight drug tests for a planned fight with Anthony Joshua

The suspension is going to expire in September - but there is heavy doubt that Miller can get licensed in New York, and Fury will need a concrete opponent for promotional purposes.
Miller wasn't licensed. The only suspension he has was by a sanctioning org. Miller isn't suspended by any state commission so if he applied for a license it would show he's not suspended. He could fight tomorrow if a state granted him a license

WMJ tests positive for a December fight and gets back on a PBC card in June.

Povetkin, Ortiz, Kid Galahad, etc all fail PED tests and then get fights on Matchroom cards.

Canelo tests positive and GBP puts him back after his suspension is up.

Beltran tests positive and gets put back on TR cards.

ALL these promoters use past PED cheats, not just Warren. This is why Hearn's little rant of how disgusted he was in Miller is hilarious. Please, none of these promoters have any morals and just want to make money.

I agree. Warren is funny for this though.

Looking at that Wilder/Povetkin case I don't think he'll have a problem getting licensed because he wasn't under the supervision of the NYSAC at the time.

In the Wilder/Povetkin case they said Povetkin didn't breach the contract because the bout agreement didn't state the fighters couldn't use PED'S.

THE VADA testing was an agreement between Miller & AJ and the NYSAC wasn't involved.

Maybe I'm reading to much into the Wilder/Povetkin thing
