Comments Thread For: Jermall Charlo Not Frustrated WBC Hasn't Mandated Canelo Fight

Fourteen months after winning the WBC's interim middleweight title, Jermall Charlo appears no closer to getting a shot at that sanctioning organization's real 160-pound championship. Gennadiy Golovkin owned the WBC middleweight title when Charlo knocked out Hugo Centeno Jr. in the second round of their April 2018 bout to win its interim championship. Canelo Alvarez won the WBC's 160-pound championship from Golovkin in their rematch nine months ago.

Keith needs to edit the article and get Charlo's record correct.

IMO Charlo should be pissed off they haven't mandated the fight yet because that is the only way he either gets a Canelo fight or forces Canelo to drop the belt rather than defend it against him, which the WBC will never do.

Haymon thinks the Charlos are ******. Look at their faces when answering questions...they can't stop moving and look like they have irritable bowel syndrome or need to take a leek or just angry in life that they are twins. Could you imagine Haymon advising three grumpy Triplets fighting non elites?

When Spence continues to get more shine, one of the Charlos will implode. You'll see.

So it's cool when GGG or Fury does it, but not Charlo?

He has the been the mandatory for awhile now, the man has earn money if the elites won't step up to the plate. Canelo does not want that fight, even though it would be a huge hit at the box office, it's by far the most dangerous fight in the division for him, a fight in which he could be stopped in the 1st half of the fight, likewise, Canelo could do the same to Charlo.

Charlo is violent, a truly elite athlete, and in his prime, best fight in the middleweight division, once Canelo cleans up, he will be pressured to make the fight, but that's next year, not this year.

Lol... Jermall should be well despite the hate convention, the path to Canelo will happen eventually as it is a big money fight.

If it doesn’t it’s a blemish on Canelo and GGG’s legacy. As we see with Spence, if you are the goods and knocking out opponents word will spread.

If they keep winning the Charlo’s will be even bigger names in the years to come. The ratings are silencing the old media gripes. Keith Idec is a shill.

                    Welcome Mr. LDBC shill #16,837.

Did you like the part where Keith wrote this:

“It’s definitely not frustrating,” said Charlo, who previously has stated his desire to fight Alvarez.

Read it as many times as it takes!

Keith went easy on the LDBC. I would've wrote it like this doe:

“It’s definitely not frustrating,” said Charlo, who previously has stated his desire and frustration to land an Alvarez fight. Though with a controversial win against Korobov, Jermall might be thinking of more step aside fees cause Haymon in this thang mayne!!
