Comments Thread For: Charlo: Judges Think Harrison Won Because They Don't Like Me

Jermell Charlo still can't understand how he lost to Tony Harrison. The former WBC super welterweight champion refuses to accept that Harrison's slight advantage in jabs was enough to beat him December 22. The more Charlo has thought about his first professional defeat, the more the polarizing ex-champion is convinced that the three judges who scored Harrison the winner must have something personal against him.

I thought Charlo beat Harrison, but the safety first, make the other guy look bad style is popular in some places. Having said that, of course they don't like Charlo, Harrison won, but he hardly "took" the title.

      To be honest

I peronally thought harrison lost that fight but the other charlo brother definetly lost and they gave him a win . so i highly doubt it has anything to do with not liking him when the judges gave his brother a fight he without a doubt lost. Can not wait to see a rematch.

of course they don't like your out of ring behavior, gang affiliations ...The gang culture has destroyed so many young lives and their families and innocent people and keep on doing it each and every day.

It shouldn't matter but supporting Crips is certainly not helping him when his fights goes to the cards, judges are only human.

Nowadays, judges usually favour the guy who moves around a lot, potshots a lot, who appears to be focused on defence even though he's just on survival mode, you know, "I'm a fan of the sweet science doe. Lest I'd be accused of being ignorant about it."

That's ridiculous. You were the cash cow. The judges were just in a very good position to look what was a hit and what was a miss. I felt like this fight was more of a draw but w/e. Definitely not corruption, they had no reason to 'rob' you

JerMell failed to stop him & wasn't dominant like he couldn't even hurt Harrison who countered Mell's best punches.
