Comments Thread For: Khan Warns: Joshua Should Rebuild, Not Do Immediate Rematch

According to Amir Khan, former world champion Anthony Joshua should consider taking "one or two fights" to rebuild his career - before he takes part in a rematch with Andy Ruiz. On June 1, Ruiz shocked Joshua, by dropping the Olympic gold medal winner four times before the contest was waved off in the seventh round.

In boxing with many varied opinions one of a deluded quitter bares little significance

If AJ's going to take anyones opinion, it should never be Khans.

Joshua should listen to Khan, his career went fine and he was KTFO multiple times and knew better than to rematch them. If Ruiz sparks Joshua out a second time, his career is over.

Khan would know about rebuilding after a devastating KO loss. He's THE expert.

As if anyone cares about Con's words

He should worry about not losing to his 178th ranked nobody opponent.

I think it's interesting how these article writers tend to NOT proofread their work.

Unless he knows something we don't, there appears to be something off with this statement :

"Joshua has already exercised an immediate rematch clause, and plans to face Khan in the fall."

Really ? Like, IN the ring ? Sanctioned ? This just might be good for boxing and I'm betting that's going to PPV.

Let's be real, Joshua is fully capable of beating Ruiz in the rematch. He had him on his ass. Backing down now would just be a moronic move after he's already said he wants to trigger the rematch clause. Like evveryone else has said, it's not like Khan's opinion is worth jack anyway.

Aj vs Ruiz 1 had a mess in camp as simple as ABC. AJ beat Ruiz in rematch plain and Simple. U cant ever forget all his achieved so quickly with Whyte, Parker, Provetkin, Klitschko, Dominic and Takam on the resume at 29yrs 22 pro......u must be a joke. Men got to be boxing fans not fanatics
