Be nice if Andy could have it in mexico, in the UK and states we have heavyweight title fights fairly regularly, bit for all the mexican boxing fans who have their first ever champion then I feel mexico is where he should defend. Plenty time to go around the globe once this fight is done.

Dec 14th is the ideal date for US viewers/DAZN subscriptions from casual sports fans. College football conference championship games are Dec 7th. The Saturday after conference championships is dead (only the Army-Navy game and no Saturday NFL) and the Heisman Trophy presentation that evening wraps up by 9 PM Eastern. Boxing events after the Heisman Trophy presentation have done well historically.

DAZN obviously wants this fight in the US to build their subscription base. Book your hotels for New York and Las Vegas for the weekend of Dec 13-15 now, and cancel one once the announcement is made.

If we get the same Joshua that whooped Alex P, look for Joshua to put Ruiz away very quickly
