  • Comments Thread For: Kell Brook Denies Retirement Rumors; Still Wants Crawford Fight

Kell Brook isn't ready to retire just yet. Brook expressed exactly that sentiment in a message posted to his Instagram and Twitter accounts Tuesday morning. The former IBF welterweight champ made the statement in response to multiple reports Monday night that he has decided to walk away from boxing.

And it has began. The only Spence and Crawford fight is through common foes, then the fan will say whom beat whom better is the better fighter. Does this ring a bell? If it does, then you remember Cotto/Mayweather (140lbs) and Mayweather/Manny (1471bs), Gamboa/Juan Manuel Lopez. Arum is gonna fook this one up, too.

Crawford is going to put a beating on this dude. It wont be one of those " he was doing good until...." type beatings neither.

Good For Him! Draining himself down to 147 for Crawford is not very smart but I'm sure it would be a good payday for him I guess. Not sure why he doesn't want to stay at 154, Kell Brook vs J Rock is a very good fight at 154 and J Rock is much closer to his size

Even Munguia, after the success that Dennis Hogan had, Kell should be BEGGING for that fight

Kell Brook has a bad management team. He fought a dangerous GGG, a dangerous Spence, and now he's aiming for a dangerous Crawford. He should have put that bum Khan in there somewhere. While Brook is a good fighter, he is taking all of the fights that will definitely lead to an early retirement.

Kell is a total waste of talent. Being obsessed with khan destroying his own career in the process, look at khan is making his millions... this guy sitting around waiting for someone to give him a free title shot and payday... he would get destroyed by Crawford, in his prime pre ggg, it would have been a very good fight, bt now the guy cant even make 147 and fight 12 rounds... hasnt made the weight in what 2 years??? This man needs to retire before he hurts himself.

"I'm just pre-heating t'oven to gas mark 7, getting the mix just right, then I'm gonna bake up some gooey, warm, extra-soft melt int mouth chocolate brownies. Then I'm gonna gently feed them to whichever t'world champions want them next. There's plenty to go around, anyone can get a brownie int mouth. Crawford ain't ready for these, Thurman don't want Kell's brownies int gob either. No one has the appetite for my baked goods. Trust me, I'm feeding brownies to any man who's hungreh" - Kell Brook on his comeback
