How bloody hard is it to make a boxing match when it's a mandated World Title fight? Either it get's made or it doesn't; If Kovalev's team is at fault then strip him of the belt, if Yarde's team is at fault then drop him out of the top 15.

Main Events said they had the money for the fight in Russia & Yarde accepted. Then last week it got canceled & the WBO called the quick purse bid for yesterday. So now Yarde's team needs time to come up with real money. Not fake Russian money like Duva was talking about.

I wonder if it will fall by the wayside then. Old Fish Eyes was happy to take the risk on Yarde losing when it was someone else's money footing the bill, but will he want to take the same gamble with his own money? Warren is notorious for risk avoidance, but then most promoters are to some extent.

I think Yarde refuses the fight if the money isn't close to what he was supposed to get in the first place. Hopefully Arum steps up & saves this **** show

If he does, it won't be in London's Copper Box where Warren seems to like his shows.
Kovalev has fought States-side a fair bit, I wonder if he's got a "home" venue there, or if Arum has a particular favorite venue?
