Comments Thread For: Arum Outlines Plan To Get To Lomachenko vs. Lopez

Bob Arum is very interested in matching top 2 pound-for-pound fighter Vasiliy Lomachenko (13-1) against rising prospect turned contender Teofimo Lopez (13-0). In his last outing which took place in April, Lomachenko blasted out an overmatched Anthony Crolla to retain his WBA and WBO lightweight titles. Lopez fought a week later when he stopped Edis Tatli in 5 rounds.

This fight won’t happen before at least 2 to 3 years
That would be beneficial for Lopez

I agree , by that time Lopez will probably have moved up
But I don’t see it happening before that
If it does happen before that , Loma takes it just off his experience
          Lopez is green as fugh

How, he'd be at 140 and Loma wont fight past 135? This needs to happen asap!

Ray Beltran is dangerous for being the former sparing partner of P4P midget Pacman.

Why do people ignore the fact that Lopez is still growing! He can't stop that process at will, unless he does damage to his body! I would like to hear what Teofimo Sr. has to say about Arum's plan!
