He will be blaming Reynoso for his loss to Stevenson real soon.

Eddy Reynoso is the front-runner for 2019 Trainer of the Year at the moment if you ask me.

I had to look up who Jason Sanchez is. He's ranked 132 by boxrec. He hasn't faced any relevant opponents to date. Now he' getting put in there with a world champ. It's embarrassing.

Top Rank doesn't care about boxing anymore. They're using ESPN's platform for only one reason: To put their stars in mismatches and have them look good to the casual public. They'll happily discard ESPN when they can.

“Eddy and I watched the fight where Sanchez beat Jean Carlos Rivera, it was a great win,” acknowledges Valdez. “We’ll see how much he’s improved then and since February, because the fighter he saw on the (ESPN show in Frisco, Texas) is not even close to the unbeaten champion he will see on Saturday night.”
In other words, this is a cherry pick. Lol. I love Valdez but I hope after this fight he takes on a bigger challenge. I know he needed at least 1-2 light touches coming off a fractured jaw.
