NEW YORK Steve Rolls doesn't get the sense Gennadiy Golovkin is underestimating him. The undefeated Canadian contender can't say the same for essentially everyone else. The 35-year-old Rolls realizes most fans have given him little chance of pulling off what would be the second huge upset at Madison Square Garden within a week.

Sparring and a real fight are two totally different things. There’s such thing as gym fighters who are great at sparring but under the lights they can’t do it.

It’s just the way it is casual fans see a all time MW in one corner and a fighter they have never heard of or seen fight in the other. Depending on their record and physical shape they doubt them further logic says not much of a chance

I am interested to see what Rolls has...everyone says the right things before the fight but usually in these cases there are levels and that shows. It's boxing though anything can happen. Predict an early KO for GGG here. Will be interested to see if he looks any different under Banks. Looks like they were working on upper body movement some in camp, good move for him I think

Lol... Stop trying to sell us sh@t wrapped in a bow. Rolls hasn’t even fought 12 rounds yet.

He has no power and is going the distance with fighters that have beaten no one and who happen to be coming off several KO’s.

GGG could have just picked someone randomly off the street and found a closer match. This is BS and more importantly BS no one wants to see. GTFOH...

Well I was gonna ask you what your prediction was for this fight. Looks like I got it ^^^. 12 rounds right ? So by early I assume you mean in Rnds 1-4. I'm hoping Rolls lasts until round 5. In my PICK EM bet I have GGG, a KO midway in Rnds 5-8. It'll be more interesting pulling for Rolls to hang in there.

I know you don't follow the "little guys" too much, but we also have Featherweight champ, Oscar Valdez taking on a young prospect Jason Sanchez, in a title bout. Not sure how he got a title shot - (14-0) and last fight 2nd Rnd TKO against a guy who's now (13-8-2). Another KO.
Then there's Zab Judah trying to make a comeback @ Jr WelterWeight.
              That's bout it.

Haha, damn space bar. Nah they are not on the DAZN GGG card. Valdez is ESPN/ESPN Deportes in Reno. The rest of the GGG card is total 'crap' I expect. Might be decent fights who knows, but GGG/Rolls is the only scheduled 12 rounder. If you know who guys like Ali Akhmedov vs. Marcus McDaniel are, you know more than me. One guy's ranked #160 or something. Interesting card.

Well best of luck with your Space Bar. Please root for Rolls to go 5 rnds. Not that that would help. I mean c'mon you said Rolls might not be such a "bum". Can't he hang on for 4 full rounds ? Geeze.

Oh and I don't know who Zab Judah is with. In NY somewhere though. 7 fights on that card. Roberto Duran Jr. in a 4 rndr welterweight too.
