Comments Thread For: Warren: Ruiz Win Has Not Changed Landscape, Fury is Still #1

Frank Warren, promoter for Tyson Fury, does not believe the recent upset of Anthony Joshua has changed the landscape of the heavyweight division. Andy Ruiz sensationally won the IBF, WBO, IBO and WBA world titles at Madison Square Garden over the weekend, securing a seventh-round stoppage over Joshua in one of the greatest shocks in the history of heavyweight boxing.

Question, why didn’t the Hearn fans ever demand that fury sign with dazn like they demanded the wilder sign his career to dazn?

He didn't beat Wilder Frank. He Lost a few early rounds got knocked down 2x in 2 different rounds and barely beat the count. That sounds like a draw..

Then on top of that he avoided the immediate rematch Wilder offered.

No one can claim to be the best If their not willing to prove it by avoiding the best fights available.

          Tyson Fury is pathetic.

Tyson Fury hasn't had a quality win in years. A frighten spastic-concussed Anthony Joshua or a sleep-walking Dominic Breazeale stand a better chance of beating Fury than Tom Schwartz.

Wilder has been ducking Dylan Whyte for 2 years. What's that tell you?

Because both Fury and Wilder refused to fight AJ. I Hope I helped you to get a better understanding of the boxing landscape.

Which championship belt does Fury have? Fury slapped around Wilder but did that make him champion?

Not a big fan of any of these heavies, but from what I remember, it was a 4 fight deal for Wilder. Not a career signing. And Fury wanted 50/50 in order to fight AJ. They offered 60/40 in AJ's favor and Fury said no.

I honestly think, especially after last weekend, that both Wilder and Fury screwed up. As they both couldve probably beaten AJ AND came away with a HUGE amount of money, even moreso with a rematch.

                    Oh well. Cong**** to Ruiz.
