Message to a young Black man with money, Miami is not the place to go to get "focused!" This ain't Muhammd Ali's Miami!
I couldn't believe it when I saw he was in Miami for the final prep. There's no way he could've stay focus in Miami. There's enough distractions there for an average joe let alone a boxing star.

Despite the distractions, Joshua didn't look comfortable once he saw some adversity in the fight.

True but Joshua probably made more getting that spanking than wilder has made his whole career

He’s been fast tracked and it showed Saturday ..... completely panicked when he got clipped

Hopefully this is a blessing in disguise and he learns from this and comes back less bulky and fully focussed on the job at hand

Of course it’s much better for your career to rack up a bunch of fights and win to hone your skills and build yourself up with experience in the ring rather than experience via just being popular.

You’re gonna tell me all those extra fights didn’t help Ezzard Charles, Roberto Duran, Julio Cesar Chavez, and so on?

That’s the best way to do it but in the age of the internet, people are so much more impatient and there’s a lot of pressure for fighters who are deemed good prospects to face the best right away.

If that’s what you want your career to be, that’a fine, like Lomachenko, that’s what he’s doing and that’s interesting. But the old school way is the way Wilder is doing it, but obviously to a lesser extent. Nobody is really reaching 100 fights in today’s boxing world.
        I agree to a extent

Wilder saying matchroom put pressure on him ect that’s what happens when your the big star

I don’t think the Uk public could sit around and watch Joshua knock out 38 journey men . His own success has been his downfall in the end

Next fight is make or break

Wilder never even boxed, stepped foot in a boxing gym or ring, or even put on a pair of boxing gloves until he was 21, few months later he won a bronze medal at the Olympics, and a few months after that he turned pro. They had to build him up slowly to make up for the lack of an amateur career and extreme inexperience. Comparing his and AJ's early careers makes zero sense. I dont know what you guys can't understand about that. Who really cares about a boxers early career? Chavez senior's resume is packed with schit fighters, Pacquiao's early career is filled with names you couldn't find even if you looked them up on the dark web. Wilder is making moves now, just enjoy boxing.

Wilder is spot on. The way Hearn and stuff were hyping Joshua, you can't blame Joshua for cracking eventually. Hearn is all about marketing and making money, but he forgot about the human factor. Joshua is a human and has emotional needs but Hearn has no regard for them. Money is all that matters to Hearn

Wilder should of gambled on himself instead of ****ting himself.

He is actually a genuinely nice guy. So to answer your question I will just be supporting Efe for the sake of it.
yeah after the fight when they tried to interview AJ and he said "This is Andy's moment" I thought to myself "he seems like he would be such a likeable boxer if Hearn wasn't his mouthpiece." I'd be willing to bet that it's not people on here that want Joshua to fail at all, they want Hearn to fail.
