to everyone saying Wilder should stop kicking AJ when he is down...

Wilder is aware of the following things, this is his mind-set...

      * he knows they lied to him...
      * he knows they avoided that fight...
      * he knows they tried to paint him as a coward...

      that is what he knows...

that is EXACTLY what happened to Ward

which is why Golovkin is now called lil'g

I suspect DAZN put pressure on him cuz DAZN was dangling a big multifight offer in front of Joshua that probably looks similar to the one Canelo got if Joshua can become a US draw. The money for DAZN is in the US. Matchroom makes money off of Joshua if he fights in the UK or the US or the f#cking moon.

People forget Matchroom & DAZN got a deal that doesn't include Joshua. Joshua has his own deal with DAZN & he was likely gonna get & still may get a nice sexy offer when his current deal is over after the Ruiz rematch if the result is more favorable for Joshua next time around.

I also suspect Wilder himself put pressure on Joshua via his impressive W & seemingly locking in Ortiz & Fury as opponents in the coming months that limits Joshua's options. Specifically I think that viral Breazeale KO pressured Joshua into walking right into the hail storm of Ruiz's shots when he thought he could end the night after he dropped Ruiz. That ultimately decided the fight even if it took 4 more rounds to print the receipt.
Wrong. Dazn deal changed when Eddie signed no top fighters.

Matchroom and Dazn deal is almost up.

Something was definitely off about Joshua's mental state. It could very well be that the pressure he was under was starting to get to him.

He didn't look comfortable or like he wanted to be there.

People are saying he quit but the easiest way of doing that is to not beat the count. Could understand doubt if he went for the age old "I could have continued" but he's not looking to present the image that he could have continued.

What's more likely is that after getting rattled, he wasn't quite coherent.

Joshua showed all the signs of someone that didn’t want to continue. Wilder actually broke it down perfectly in terms of him not coming forward, mental frailties etc. Maybe Wilder’s brain is big enough to fit a spaceship inside after all. I didn’t believe him when he first said it but now I do.

Wilderlites im staying in my lane the heavyweight division is yours. I’m taking my pom-poms to the Welterweight division which we have absolutely nobody but I like Spence
Don't run so fast! Hop onboard the Efe Ajagba train! Just because you reside in the UK doesn't mean you can't enjoy the HW division anymore just because Joshua was horribly embarrassed! There's still Fury and Whyte!

Trust me, I know how it feels! I watched Tyson vs. Douglas, Tyson vs. Holyfield, and Tyson vs. Lewis! I know how bad it hurts! Cheer up Brother!

To use the American phrase, this is a "chess not chequers" moment.

18 months ago the Hearns had it all sussed. AJ was the man selling our stadiums in UK, they thought they could lowball Wilder by giving him his highest purse but what equated to a lowball percentage of the fight revenue. They also had Whyte circling from his WBC mandatory position. Hearn spoke smugly about smoking him out to anyone who'd record him for YouTube.

Fast forward to now, and Haymon and Finkle have played an absolute blinder. They've built Wilder off the back of all the above, to be fair he's jumped in with the best he could in Ortiz and Fury and also provided more devastating highlight reel KOs in between. Now Hearns empire is looking shaky at best and AJ is clearly going through some stuff.

It isn't excuses either. The delay in his locker room with no cameras allowed in. The fact his usual team weren't even in there with him, they joined him by the arena entrance. His behaviour before, during and after the fight. His dad wanting to fight Eddie Hearn. Something serious is going on in that camp....
