Andy Ruiz didn’t prove he was world class, he proved that AJ isn’t.

A lot of people are trying to hype up Andy Ruiz. Just cause Ruiz exposed the hype let’s not create new hype just to fill that void or to hide from the inevitable truth: “AJ is not and never will be an elite fighter”.

I mean does Andy Ruiz even win a round against Tyson Fury?

How many rounds would he survive with Wilder?

Ruiz deserves all the credit in the world for pulling off a huge upset and exposing Joshua’s well documented flaws in the process. But let’s not get carried away...

Coulda, woulda, shoulda... Fact is he had more balls than the bigger names, and he has a better name on his resume than Wilder for example. And he is the unified champion. He did it in lesser time than the other champ. He would get well rewarded for taking risks. Something other champs didn’t want to.

I agree but you have to give credit to Ruiz as well...he wanted it more.
Contrast their bodylanguage after getting knocked down, Ruiz was straight back at it, eager to show the reff he was fine and straight back into the pocket, AJ on the other hand was not eager to show the reff he was fine and his bodylanguage was looking for a way out.

and for the record i would stick a score on Ruiz to beat Wilder, just for the fact he has a great chin and wilder has even worse defence and inside game than AJ...

Exactly. Dude stepped up to the plate on short notice and performed like a champion. Give him his props. He's the man at heavyweight until proven otherwise. When Ortiz didn't want it and Wilder was too busy playing games worrying about people begging him to fight, Tyson Fury was running off at the mouth while fighting the Schwart's of the world, Ruiz jumped at the opportunity to prove himself.

He had more heart in his fat belly than Fury and Wilder combined. He went to the belt not the money and got them. And he’s getting rewarded financially for having a big heart and making more money than Fury and Wilder.

And no man who looked drunk and lethargic before a fight would look world class. Hopefully, Wilder and Fury are thinking like you and once he gets his belts back, they will take the fight.

How’s he the man at HW???

                Fury’s wins/resume is far better than Ruiz’s.

This is the type of hype I’m referring to

Lol at these threads. Ruiz ruined no only AJ but posters on here.
Now AJ is not elite and Ruiz wouldn’t win a round against Fury.
                  Hahahahahaha

He's the man because he has 3 belts. Fury performed good against Wilder but he doesn't have a title or any leverage at all. I'm not saying Ruiz is the best heavyweight because I think Fury is, but Ruiz holds the cards now. Especially if he wins the rematch with AJ. That's not hype, it's fact
