Comments Thread For: Frank Warren Expects Ruiz To Be Better, Likely Beat Joshua Again

Frank Warren, promoter for heavyweight contender Tyson Fury, highly doubts Anthony Joshua will be able to turn the tide in the expected rematch with Andy Ruiz. On Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Ruiz pulled off one of the biggest upsets in boxing history when he dropped Joshua four times before the contest was stopped in the seventh round.

Unless he pulls a Buster Douglas and eats instead of training he can improve plus confidence very high. Joshua confidence shattered he knows he has a chin issue. He can box safer but chin will be tested

Aj needs time.. he will demand rematch clause then fake a injure a few weeks before.. to give him more time.. he is not ready for Ruiz.. can't fix all those issues in just 5 months.. Ruiz will KO him again in 5 months. Wilder vs Ruiz will be big!!!

Ruiz started boxing 6 years old. Josh started late.
It might be hard to beat ruiz. Might be best to let ruiz fight wilder, and try get belts off of wilder down.line

He can't fix those issues ever. Andy Ruiz just caved his head in. Psychologically, he's finished. There's a dark void somewhere in Joshua's brain. He lived in that void for three rounds after the knockdown. To live in such a state of stupefaction for three rounds is catastrophic for a heavyweight. Next time he may never leave that void. He may become a permanent vegetable. There's just no way to deal with that truth after it hits home. Again, Joshua's head has been caved in.
